Frequently Asked Questions:
1) Is this the same training that I would get if I took the 'Live Hand's On' training?
Yes, the training is the same, except that during the practice time, I will be re-demoing each move with you so you will have both visual and audio instruction for each technique as you practice them. 2) Do I need to have a practice partner? It is not required for you to have a practice partner in order to participate. I do recommend having one, but you also have the option to just watch now and practice later. If you are arranging a practice partner, practice times are typically 10am-1pm and 3-5pm. 3) Does my practice partner need to practice on me? That is one possibility, if your practice partner is interested in doing that. You also have the option to practice giving twice, so your practice partner, in that case, would just receive. I leave this up to you and your partner to decide. 4) Will I have access to the Webinar recordings? I no longer record the Webinar sessions as I now have an edited and more streamlined version of the course which you will have lifetime access to via my Online Academy. This version includes 3 additional bonus CE's per module. 5) Is the price the same for the Webinar option? Yes, the price of the training is the same as taking the class in person, but I do offer the option of applying the webinar amount towards any future live 'hands on' training with me. So, in essence, you can get both the webinar and the 'hands on' course for one price. You can even take the same course again and earn your CE's again for no extra charge. 6) Is there a money back guarantee? Yes, if for any reason, you are unsatisfied with the course, you are welcome to a full refund. 7) Can I get CE's and/or Certification for attending the Webinar? Yes, you will earn 6 CE's per day. They are approved by NCBTMB. I will email you an approved certificate which you can upload to your state massage boards. Certification is also possible with the addition of 16 documented practice hours. Please see my Policy page for more details. |
Webinar Testimonials:
"Michael Sitzer's Thai Yoga Bodywork training is a true treasure--one that shines brighter than any of the other tools that I have gleaned in my career as licensed massage therapist and healing arts practitioner. I took the first training in person with Michael and a beautiful group of other like-minded students. The experience was magical. It was as if we were enveloped in an immersive healing retreat, as Michael is so adept at fluidly radiating Metta energy (the energy of loving kindness) throughout every aspect of the training from start to finish. His teaching style is one that speaks simultaneously to the brain and to the heart, which makes learning the practical application of Thai Yoga Bodywork quite effortless. He is humble, patient, kind, helpful, and abounding with knowledge, which he imparts in a way that is easily understood.
When Michael transitioned to a virtual teaching framework, I was reluctant to participate because I thought I would miss out on something special--Michael's presence and his energy, interaction with other students, and the kind of quality learning experience that I had when I participated in the live training. However, I took the leap, enrolled in the training, and was met with the realization that Michael is just as masterful a teacher online as he is in person. He made sure that we could all see his every movement from a couple of different angles (which is actually more than what I was able to see in the in-person class). We also had just as many opportunities to participate in Metta meditation, to practice his bodywork teachings, to ask questions, and to interact with him and other students, . . .
Overall, Michael's online training workshops are actually quite phenomenal. I am grateful that I can learn from him in this deeply satisfying way."

"Michael Sitzer has a special talent for teaching with such a profound clarity as well as combining the aspect of deep meditation, and true sense of peace to every single one of his classes. I am so grateful for this experience with my own partner in the comfort and quiet of our home miles away on the west coast, sharing friendship with students from all over the country and other parts of the world. He helped to heal our hearts and open them to new experiences and for this we are eternally grateful. I will never forget the experience and look forward to learning more online with you, thank you so much! I cannot recommend taking this class online more, it is truly a priceless jewel."
