Thai -Yoga Trainings: After fifteen years of studying various forms of bodywork modalities, I have synthesized a style of 'Thai Yoga Bodywork' that is not limited by any one form but includes a combination of healing techniques. Specifically, this Thai Massage incorporates assisted yoga stretches, deep compression, specific point work, energy line (sen) work, soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release and joint mobilization into a creative and delightful rhythmic rocking dance. The result is quite profound.
I currently offer six courses which can be taken individually or together. The 'Certification Training' consists of the first four courses which link together creating a two-hour full body treatment. Add in the advanced course's for a larger repertoire and to create a more individualized & therapeutic session. More detailed information about each course can be found on the 'Trainings' page... Full Certification Training:* 1) Supine Position- (Feet, Legs, Head, Neck & Shoulders) 2) Side Lying Position- (Hips, Back, Arms & Hands) 3) Prone Position- (Backside, Child's & Seated Positions) 4) Double Leg Stretches & Energy Work- (Supine position) *For certification, one must complete all four courses above plus ten practice sessions.
